Ali Zafar ditches Telenor for Mobilink

The long time associate and spokesperson of Telenor TalkShawk Ali Zafar has now switched and has become the spokesperson of Mobilink. This has happened before too. Like many models keep acting in different mobile network adverts, like we have the example of past models of InstaPhone Ads who were seen in a couple of Paktel ads too. But they were just models and were not bound to strict to one brand only.

In the case of Ali Zafar, since the launch of Telenor TalkShawk package, Ali Zafar has been the celebrity spokesperson for them. According to marketing terms, a spokesperson has tro strict with the company until the time defined in the contract.

Apparently, Ali Zafar has got rid of Telenor contract and has got a better offer from Mobilink.

In the ad, Ali Zafar’s friend says to him ‘Now that you have become a Barra Admi (Superior Man) so you aren’t in keeping contact with me’

Ali Zafar replys, “I’ve got promotion in job, so from now on, Jazz is ON”

Mobilink Jazz has attempted to depict Mobilink Jazz as the status symbol of superior people. I’d say, Mobilink’s marketing manager has come up with the excellent campaign to play emotionally with the great fans of Ali Zafar, because believe it or not, Ali Zafar’s fans might start switching to Jazz and Telenor might face customer loss.
